Our patent pending designs allow users to change frames while using the same hinged cameras and batteries. This provides a choice in brands and styles. Users can charge the batteries without being tethered which is critical when prescription lenses are required for sight and also provides extended battery life for streaming.

Protecting Your Data Rights

Tracing data ownership becomes more acute when multiple users are recording the same content. The compilation of their data could be used for entertainment on a virtual reality headset or for purchasing items directly from a store. However, to provide credit or ensure users are compensated for the data captured we must trace ownership rights. Our method uses physical detector defects that provide invisible watermarks on all digital assets to trace ownership rights back to the user.

Nebulae’s Smart Glass Case design allows users to minimize their devices and charging cables while hosting additional frames. Rob LeggFounder & CEO
Rob began his career in 2006 designing camera and laser systems for military helicopters. During the next eighteen years he developed unique insight into how devices work and the technology breakthroughs, supply chains and manufacturing footprints required to commercialize our next generation of products. Developing business at the bleeding edge of photonics and scaling advanced materials from MIT’s labs to market-leading products has honed his expertise from research and development through production. This directly feeds into the vision at Nebulae. Rob held lead positions at FLIR Systems, Materion and XTALIC . He holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Saint Louis University as well as an MBA from Rollins College.
Youssef Benmokhtar Advisor
Youssef Benmokhtar is the CEO of GelSight. Prior to GelSight he worked at Magic Leap where he spearheaded the company’s business development and formed strategic partnerships with technology, media, and telecommunications firms. Prior to landing at Magic Leap, he held leadership positions for an array of imaging, optics, and semiconductor companies, including FotoNation, OmniVision Technologies, DigitalOptics, and STMicroelectronics. His leadership and deal-making abilities are complemented by his deep roots in engineering. Youssef has a B.S. in Industrial Engineering from the Rochester Institute of Technology and a master’s from the Georgia Institute of Technology.

Nebulae Inc. was founded in Delaware during 2019 to reinvent the way society interacts with consumer electronics and digital assets through smart glasses. Smart glasses can be simple, stylish and provide the ability to capture our entire life. However, only millions of smart glasses sell annually compared to over two billion smartphones and eyeglasses. Today most product design is focused on expensive AR components and audio functionality leading to high prices. Users already have earbuds, watches and smartphones so Nebulae focuses on the ability to capture, protect and share our life so users can get back to being present.
